A useful quotation normally requires the enclosure drawings or geometry, overall dimensions, material or appearance requirements, prototype and production quantities, required manufacturing scope, inspection requirements and target timing. Additional information may be requested after the initial review.

Common project files include STEP, STP, IGES, X_T, STL, DWG, DXF and PDF. ZIP files may be used to group related files. If the files are too large for the form, submit the project details first and request a secure transfer method.

Yes. Submit a general project description or email sales@zrdmfg.com and state that an NDA is required. A customer-provided or mutual NDA can be reviewed before detailed file exchange, subject to agreement by both parties.

We can review the enclosure size, geometry, quantity, project stage, visible surfaces and assembly requirements before proposing a prototype or production route. A recommendation depends on the quality and completeness of the available information.

Yes. A prototype project can focus on exterior form, openings, mounting interfaces, panel relationships and component fit. Tell us whether the prototype is for appearance review, assembly validation, functional testing or preparation for production.

Yes. The agreed scope may cover a specific stage such as CNC prototyping, vacuum forming, CNC trimming, finishing or assembly, or it may cover a coordinated enclosure project from review to delivery.

Quotation timing depends on drawing completeness, enclosure complexity, process selection, material, finishing, quantity and the required supply scope. We first review the available information and contact you if clarification is needed.

No. ZRD manufactures enclosure parts and assemblies according to the agreed drawings, specifications, samples and inspection scope. Compliance, testing and certification of the complete medical device remain within the customer's product-development and regulatory responsibilities unless a separate written scope states otherwise.
